What
We Believe
The Episcopal Church holds that Holy Scripture contains all things necessary for salvation. We believe that God has revealed Himself through his Son Jesus Christ, and through the Holy Bible. Through the scriptures, we hear God's Word to His Church and people.
Our faith is expressed in the ancient creeds of the Church: The Apostles' Creed and the Nicene Creed. These two creeds express the essential nature of God, His Son, and the Holy Spirit. They also tell of the mission of the Church to proclaim God's kingdom to the world.
The
Book of Common Prayer is not only a book of worship, it is an excellent
place to begin to understand the faith and worship of the Episcopal Church.
It has been said, if you want to know what we believe, come and worship with us.
Contact us for further information and ask about Fr. Steve's concise book, We Believe. New member sessions, Bible studies, and other educational opportunities are also available. For your information, Bishop Little will be visiting us in January for Baptism, Confirmation and Reception.
